Peers Clough Farm of Rossendale and the Pennine Lancashire Festival have joined together to promote a season of wonderful food and drink led pony trekking adventures along the Pennine Bridleway.
Designed for people who love the countryside and enjoy a slow meander, the treks are suitable for anyone who has a little experience on a horse (those who have had some riding lessons are ideal.) Peers Clough Farm provide guests with their own well trained and good natured ponies. Treks include services and support of an experienced guide and all riding equipment.
So saddle up! This is a fantastic, fun way to experience the countryside, taste Lancashire’s food and drink, and enjoy the great outdoors.
Half Day and Full Day rides, and Two Day Mini-Breaks are available for individuals and small groups (max 5) to book throughout the festival period.
One day Pub and Picnic rides involve a 4 to 5 hour trek with a good break for an open air picnic with the horses, or a pub lunch at the famous Ram Inn, Cliviger. Price: £50.
