Ribble Coast and Wetlands

Ribble Estuary NNR is the most important site in the UK for wintering wildfowl. There are many activities and events which go on throughout the year on the extensive areas of mud and sand flats. This area is one of the largest single areas of saltmarsh in England, excellent for bird watching!
